Hurricane Season: Generators Needed

Hurricane Season in the carolina's isn't just for Hockey. Although its mild thus far. We are quite accustomed to the severity of this massive storm force. When these massive storms hit, there is so much destruction that occurs in its path. Many organizations have generators to assist when power gets knocked out. Also, in some areas portable generators are used to heed the process of rebuilding what the storm destroyed in its path. Not only are generators used in the midst of a natural disaster, but they are also used in the industrial world to as a back up power supply to keep up the production process of their business.  When you're ready to install a new generator, contact Surplus Sales USA to dispose of your obsolete generator.

Check out what types of Generators we purchase and how we can benefit your company with selling and disposing of their obsolete generators.

Fall Boneyard Cleanup

Summer and Winter are typically shut down season for the industrial world. Winter is a slow time for focusing on surplus equipment parts that linger in boneyards and lay-down yards due to extreme weather in many places across the country. So with that being said, many places hold off until spring to clean up their boneyard. Others would like to enter the winter season ready for rest quite like bears do with hibernation. When you invest a little time into a fall boneyard clean up, you can enter the winter season without that lingering task awaiting around the corner in spring. Ease up the winter by focusing on the job at hand-keeping business running as usual. Most think of spring as cleaning season, when really it should be more of production season. There is a reason it's called "Spring Fever." We've been cooped up all winter, we are just itching to get outside. Don't waste time dealing with an unmanaged boneyard when you can do it in the fall.  Settle into winter with all your unwanted task completed and tied up with a bow. Doing a boneyard clean up in the fall is definitely like hibernation, you plan like a bear for an easy long winters rest with no worries or strife. Surplus Sales USA can tie your Boneyard Project up with a bow as a gift to you and your company for the winter season. Just think of us bringing you an early Christmas Present.

Spring Cleaning

SPRING IS HERE!!!  Well it has been for about a month now, but the weather lately would prove otherwise. Most are very familiar with the phrase "Spring Cleaning." At my house, it's still on the to-do list, clean the blinds, wash away all the pollen that the "April Showers" have not yet, all the things that just need some attention a couple times a year. The same act hold true for business as well. In our company we usually do it once a quarter. But many companies with large warehouses and full boneyards outside, like to wait until the sun has steadily warmed the ground and all the snow has melted away.

In the surplus industry, now is a great time to choose to clean our your boneyard and sell the unwanted parts that have linger in your warehouse/storeroom for far too long. "Parting is such sweet sorrow" ~ William Shakespeare. Yes, we completely understand that parting with a piece of equipment is a very difficult thing to do. So many of our customers let us know that they can't part with an item because they may need it one day. Here is what I have discovered in my own house hold, I had purchased and used some cabinetry knobs in my new home. I didn't use all that came in the package but wanted to keep them for the time when we redid our kitchen and expanded. I wanted to update a piece of furniture and those knobs would have worked perfectly but the place I thought I would never forget where they were, had been long forgotten. Fortunately, later looking for something else, I came across then and have since moved then again.  The lesson here is that, those items sitting in your storeroom for years now, are probably long forgotten, and yes, you made need it one day. But here is a nice solution, sell them to us and free up some needed space for new equipment, more efficient equipment, and, if the time comes, we can sell it back to you and a fair price.

WE offer great solutions for companies wanting to reduce their inventory and free up needed production space. On the other hand, we have a very wide variety of equipment parts at our fingertips for you to select from.  Give us a call today and see how we can help you, (704) 798-5063 or if you already have a list of items to sell, send us an email to sales@surplussalesusa.com

Until next time,
